Purpose: Our client has a new project with need for devs persons strong in Ruby on Rails, have Shopify or Stripe experience, and MySQL. Elastic Search would be nice to have. You need to be a strong communicator and experience in working remotely.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You will:
• Write code that is testable, maintainable, well -organized and meets our internal standards practices.
• Review exception reports and performance metrics to identify bugs and bottlenecks, propose and implement solutions.
• Assist customer support teams with escalated tickets.
• Collaborate with cross functional, agile teams.
• Contribute ideas to improve the product
Qualifications and Experience
• 8+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational data base intervals.
• Proficiency in English language, both written and verbal.
• Strong sense of ownership on phases of the software development cycle.
• Self-motivated and self-managing, with excellent organizational skills.
• Experience working in entrepreneurial/ startup environment.
• Experience working with remote teams.
