The Davis & Shirtliff Group is the leading supplier of Water and Energy solutions in the region supplying products in various segments including water pumps, borehole service, solar, swimming pools, irrigation, water treatment, waste water treatment, water lab equipment and industrial chemicals. The group operates through a network of Ugandan branches namely Kampala, Mbarara, Jinja, Gulu, Arua and Mbale. The company has a total complement of over 70 highly trained and professional staff spread across the country. We are looking for qualified, experienced, and talented professionals to fill in the following position of Technician.

The main roles and responsibilities will be as follows:

• Installation, servicing, and maintenance of D&S equipment.

• Electrical and plumbing system design, diagnosis, and troubleshooting

• Service contract inspections

• Product and service sales

• On-site customer support and communication

• Any other task deemed necessary to accomplish the above

The successful candidates will most likely meet the following requirements:

• Diploma or degree in any Engineering discipline

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a busy service and maintenance environment

• Valid driving License and ability to ride a motorcycle is an added advantage.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer handling skills.

• Demonstrated broad knowledge and experience in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of any of the following systems: pumping, swimming pool, solar, water treatment, plumbing, electrical and electronic systems.

• Fresh college graduates with interest in the listed areas who may want to be considered for internship opportunities are free to apply.
