GRADUATE RECRUITMENT EXERCISE (GRE)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill vacant posts currently available in Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies. Applications should be filled ON-LINE not later than 13th March 2023.

Minimum Qualification

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Mechanical; or Electrical; or Chemical); or Industrial Chemistry from a recognized University.

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Energy Officer for performing the following duties:-
• Promoting awareness regarding efficient utilization of energy in Household, Institutions and Transport Sectors;

• Formulating and implementing programmes/activities for energy management in Household, Institutions and Transport Sectors;

• Collecting data regarding energy management in Household, Institutions and Transport Sectors;

• Carrying out inspections in designated energy consumers regarding energy management in Household, Institutions and Transport Sectors;

• Conducting research and development on the implementation processes for providing energy management in Household, Institutions and Transport Sectors;

• Preparing draft reports regarding energy management in Household, Institutions and Transport Sectors;

• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
