GRADUATE RECRUITMENT EXERCISE (GRE)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill vacant posts currently available in Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies. Applications should be filled ON-LINE not later than 13th March 2023.

Minimum Qualification

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Geology; or Engineering; or Mineral Economics; or Mineral Law; or Mine Surveying; or Geoscience from a recognized University/Institution.

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Engineer, Mining for performing the following duties:-
• Updating the Mining Cadastre and Registry System and e-government portal;

• Verifying and capturing information on payment of mineral fees;

• Participating in the review of applications for mineral rights and licences;

• Participating in the preparation of division annual, mineral investment and technical reports;

• Participating in the evaluation of proposed models of mineral extraction;

• Participating in surface rights verification exercises;

• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
