Q-Sourcing Servtec Group is looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced CMS Procurement System Advisor for one of our clients CNOOC Uganda Limited

Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, operation sites or other cities if required.

Primary function:

To implement daily system management in CMS system, maintain and upgrade CNOOC CMS Data, apply for and input procurement code and BOM, develop routine reports in CMS system, and train system management teams.

Responsibilities

1. Manage all functional modules within the system and produce standardized documentation of each module such as user manual, testing cases scenarios and video training material if needed.

2. Monitor and oversee the smooth running of the system, work with technical support team to troubleshoot and minimize system downtime. Inform users of any system updates, fixes, new feature etc.

3. Assist users with day-to-day operations on technical and business levels and provide technical support and troubleshooting.

4. Analyze new business needs, system realization feasibility and plan and implement customized system solutions. Produce process and solution plan documentation for involved parties.

5. Configure new fields, tables, profiles etc according to business needs, and modify object properties based on business changes subject to satisfying CMS system architecture, rules and data structure.

6. Configure or modify workflows in different modules according to business processes subject to satisfying CMS system architecture, rules and data structure.

7. Manage system users including roles, profiles, and authorizations by adding, deleting, modifying and creating required functions.

8. Manage and maintain system basic data such as supplier, currency, conversion rate etc and other submitted data produced from daily operation.

9. Use analytical tools such as SQL to analyze system data and produce reports in support of management decisions.

10. Provide support and input of CMS system knowledge in integration with other systems such as SAP/MDM.

11. Identify dependencies/risks and work with technical counterparts to mitigate risks.

12. Complete and submit weekly/monthly Report to Management and CI HQ.

13. Communicate with a diverse set of technical and non-technical partners in English.

14. Perform other duties assigned by superior.

Mandatory Requirements:

1. BachelorÂ’s degree or above in MIS, Management Information System, Logistics Management or related.

2. At least 8-years related working experience, 5 years in Oil and Gas.

3. Experienced in CMS module day-to-day operation, master data maintenance, trouble shooting and training with strong CMS configuration experience required in CMS applications including CMS & Procure to Pay Modules

4. Experienced in CMS system cutover and go-live procedure including configuration, initial document upload

5. Experienced in CMS integration with other information systems

6. Detailed knowledge of CMS Procure to Pay, Procurement Management and Standard Management processes, hands on experience in configuration of P2P and IM processes

7. Previous experience in information system products consulting and implementation, preferably in energy industry and supply chain management related.

8. Extensive experience in one of the programming languages such as Java, Python, or Shell.

9. Extensive experience in query language SQL.

Knowledge, skills and competencies

1. Knowledge of ERP and MIS required

2. Certificates on CMS, Plant Utilization, IOSH, stores management, lifting plans, drilling technology etc. preferred

3. Understanding of oil E&P

4. Good ability to work with high standard documentation

5. Collaborate with other technical and functional leads, Project Managers for development and support activities

6. Demonstrate ability to gather and document functional requirements for an application including development of use cases, use case scenarios, and User Interface design employing standard techniques and templates

7. Awareness of culture diversity

8. Good command of both written and spoken English

9. Excellent team player

10. High standard of business ethics

11. Highly motivated and achievement orientated

12. Prefer to offshore oil field working experience
