The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) was established under the National Environment Act, Cap. 153 and continued under the National Environment Act No-5 of 2019 as the Principal Agency for Environment Management in Uganda with mandate to Regulate, Monitor, Supervise and Coordinate all activities relating to the environment in Uganda.
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified NEMA staff to fill the following vacant positions on the new NEMA structure.
Main purpose of the job
To support management of the security of person and property for the Authority
Duties and responsibilities
Support the senior security officer to:
1. Develop and implement division workplans and timely reporting
2. Secure the estates and all properties of the Authority
3. Manage security and safety of the premises in liaison with the EPF
4. Manage security and safety of the Authority personnel at the workplace
5. Submit timely and accurate administration reports
6. Profile, rate and respond to security threats and make timely reports
7. Advise management on security and safety issues
8. Perform any other official duties that may be assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
• An Honor Bachelor’s Degree in any field
• Professional training in security services

QUALIFICATIONS
Academic Qualifications & Experience:
1. BachelorÂ’s degree in Accounting and Finance
2. CPA/ACCA will be an added advantage
3. Basic understanding of project management
4. Minimum of two yearsÂ’ experience in a similar role preferably with an international NGO
