Back ground about the JCRC USAID/LPHS- Kigezi & Lango:
The Joint Clinical Research Center (JCRC) is implementing USAID Local Partner Health Services -Kigezi Region (LPS) a five-year Project (2020-2025) funded by PEPFAR through USAID that aims to increase availability, accessibility and utilization of quality integrated HIV/TB services in Kigezi Sub- region in South Western Uganda. This will be by reaching and sustaining the HIV epidemic control through attaining and sustaining the 95:95:95 UNAIDS target in the 6 districts of Kigezi sub region.
Job Title: TB and TB/HIV Technical Advisor

JOB PURPOSE: The TB &TB/HIV services Technical Advisor will be responsible for ensuring the technical soundness of the TB program through providing technical support & guidance to program and District teams on TB /TB HIV programming with focus on TB prevention and management aligned to the national TB quality standards in the six project supported districts in Kigezi region. He/she will work with the project /district health teams in planning, coordination and monitoring interventions that enhance health worker capacity to improve access and provision of quality of TB and TB/HIV services. This will be achieved through trainings, support supervisions, clinical mentoring/coaching, and Quality & performance improvement approaches.
