Description
To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students of the Mildmay Uganda Nursing School to fully develop skills and fulfill their academic potential. The job holder will work as part of the team to ensure that the curriculum, as set by the Ministry of Education and Sports, is delivered at the set standards and that examination are conducted in line with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Examinations Board (UNMEB) guidelines and procedures. The expected result is well nurtured students that demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and academic excellence.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
A BachelorÂ’s degree in Nursing; Plus a post graduate diploma in medical education or Diploma in Education He/she must be registered with the relevant professional body/council, and must have a valid practicing license.
Job related experience and knowledge:
The successful candidate must have a minimum of Minimum 1 yearsÂ’ experience as a Tutor in a Nursing School or 3 yearsÂ’ experience in a busy Clinical setting; Experience/knowledge relevant MOH/MOES guidelines and policies; ability to network and liaise with various partners plus ability to mentor and teach.
